QUEZON CITY, Philippines-  The Six Sigma Guy, Rex Jayson Tuozo delivered his talk entitled; "Lean Six Sigma: What's in It for IEs?" at the IEshikawa last Saturday, November 18. IEshikawa is the annual event held by UP CIEM, gathering thousands of IE students from all over the Philippines.

​EIshikawa - UP CIEM believes that "Industrial Engineers have a role in working hand in hand with the Philippine Government - the nation's backbone." which is why they have prepared a line up of talks and workshops that are geared towards helping future IEs to "create a nation with an effective and efficient governing body."

Having faith in this vision, The Six Sigma Guy talked about Six Sigma whose methodologies and tools mirror the organizations visions, as these methodologies and tools can play a very big role in creating an effective and efficient process.

Of course being a herald of fun, The Six Sigma Guy also taught the students to do the "Secret Six Sigma Handshake", which, we are not supposed to write about because it's secret, but here's a video of it anyway:
